Forehead & Brow Lift
Eyebrows may drop with age and this might create an aged and weary look on your face. If you’re having this experience you can benefit from an eyebrow lift operation.
Women have more curved eyebrows, and their brows are located higher while men have straighter brows.
Before the surgery
As in other operations, the patient has to quit smoking at least 3 weeks before the surgery and stop taking blood thinners at least 1 week before to the operation.
During the endoscopic brow lift surgery, the surgeon makes several small incisions behind your hairline. The length of incisions are between 1,5 – 2 centimeters. The surgeon then lifts and anchors your forehead tissues in place with the help of endoscope. The temples can also be lifted if necessary.
After the surgery
After the surgery, the patient might experience slight swelling and cyanosis. The swelling might drop lower in time due to gravity. These effects fade within a week and the patient is expected to return to regular social life in ten days.
